Guest Info:
Tom Chappell Lewis served as a youth minister for seven years, but after a series of profound experiences in bars and hospitals, Tom left his church position to pursue a call to chaplaincy. Seeing the value of listening and presence in the hospital setting, Tom sought to transfer these skills to other venues (most notably the breweries in his neighborhood). In addition to his work as a teacher and hospital chaplain, Tom took on the role of the Bar Chaplain, practicing ministry of presence in an unexpected setting.
